Masayuki Koorida Reception and Presentation

• The Texas Sculpture Group and Lone Star Studios, in conjunction with the
City of San Antonio’s International Relations Office and the Department of
Culture and Creative Development, are proud to announce a reception and
presentation by Japanese sculptor Masayuki Koorida, to be held at Lone Star
Studios on the evening of Monday, November 4th
• As well as being internationally known for his sculpture, Masayuki is also the
Executive Director of the Shanghai Sculpture Park in China.
• Currently living and working in Shanghai, Masayuki has received the
distinction of numerous solo and group exhibitions and awards in Japan,
Taiwan, China, Italy, Germany the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland as well as in the U.S.
• Reception will start at 6:00 pm with the lecture/presentation of both
Masayuki’s sculpture and an overview of the Shanghai Sculpture Park
beginning at 7:00pm.
• Casual reception will feature Kielbasa sausage prepared by the Lone Star
Studios Grill Team along with Alamo beer- both proudly made in San
